ARGENTINIAN CELIAC LAW

Our proposal is based in 4 items:

1.) LABELLED: (LOGO) labelled. About de labelled, what we understand is to make sure all the celiac products are clearly Be clear means:1.) To stablish an unic limit of 10 mg/kg (10ppm) of gluten to consider a product gluten free and able for celiac people. 2.) Every product “gluten free-(no wheat, barly, oat and rye) must have at least one of the two logos used in Argentina, legally approved by Argentinean Government, and it will be analized as many times as the regulation requires. 3.) Any product wich the limit is over 10mg/kg (10ppm) must have the avise :THIS PRODUCT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE.

2.) Detection and control of CD National Program: Health Ministry Public Health 1560/2007 Resolution. Create the Detection and Control of CD National Program to contribute the early detection of the CD and support a Food National System Control, taking special care with the gluten free food, so it can be easily access by the people who has this disease.

3.) OBLIGATORY MEDICAL PLAN: (PMO) We ask an immediately inclusion of the studies for the detection of the CD and associate illness to the OMP to guarantee the early diagnosis, the follow up and treatment of all celiac people to find out the almost 400.000 celiacs that still don’t have a diagnosis.

4.) EDUCATION AND DIFUSION: We know that celiac people has to deal at least four times a day with our condition: every time we have to eat. That’s why it’s extremely important to have access to a gluten free diet.Family, friends, relatives and the society must know the details of this diet.The eating act it’s not an individual action, it’s social.This is one of the main reasons because we demand the CD inclusion in all different education levels.It’s absolutly necessary that students and teachers take conscious about the care we need with our diet, besides, they must know the symptoms of the disease so they can help with the detection of the disease of those that still have no diagnosis.Even though we ask diffusion campaigns specifically in restaurantes and shops that sell food and others products for human consume. We know that the approval of the law is inminent and covers the needs of Argentinean celiacs we expect that the regulation guarantee the cover up of all of them.To make It easier: -About de labelled all products (food, medicines, etc) must be clearly labelled so we can identify if they are gluten free or not. -About the Detection and Control of the celiac disease, the program must provide diagnosis and treatment guides, the organization of a public service net at hospitals and health centers focusing in this disease.-About the OMP, to incorporate de celiac disease to this program guarantee the diagnosis and correct treatment. -About Education, to declare May 5th, Celiac National Day, with educational campaigns, promoting the obligatory diffusion and publicity in all kind of media.Health Ministry: Public Health 1560/2007 Resolution To create the Detection and Control National Program of the Celia disease, to contribute at the early detection of the illness and a stronger National Food Control. 27/11/2007 EX. Considering: 1)Celiac Disease is an illness with an upgrade incidence in Argentina society.

2)That the quality of life of the ones who is suffering this illness, family and environment is affected by it.

3)That the early detection and treatment are vital for avoid secondary complications taking in account there’s no medicine treatment.

4)Once you have the diagnosis, the only treatment that exists is an extremely carefull diet, gluten free, during all life.

5)That the correct labelled (gluten free) is the only way to identify the products easily.

6)That is extremely important to create a Detection and Control National Program, promoting the early diagnosis and treatment with an exhaustive food control

7)It’s extremely important to include the CD to health programs.

8)That the Health Ministry must take coordination actions with the Social Development Ministry.

9) That the General Direction of legal issues is notified. That’s why, the Health Ministry resolves: ART.1: To create the Detection and Control of the CD National Program .ART.2: Action coordination by the Politics, Regulation and Institutes Secretary. ART.3: The Health Ministry must coordinate actions with all the secretaries involved to accomplish the propose objectives. ART.4: It must be a special budget for the expenses of all these actions.ART.5: To invite all the Provinces and Buenos Aires City Governments to join this program.ART.6: To registry, communicate, published and archived in the National Direction of Public Register.Gines M. La Ley Celiaca Argentina, es un paso decisivo para el colectivo celiaco mundial, como sabemos, la celiaqui es una enfermedad cronica como tal, nos encontraremos celiacos en cualquier rincon de cada pais.Tenemos poblemas, claro que si, tenemos cientos de miles de afectados sin diagnosticar, como es posible que esto ocurra en paises prosperos y de sarrollados ?No, no podemos consentirlo mas, debemos dejar nuestras leyes en la OMS, en la C.E...Las grandes potencias deben comprometerse "socialmente" con los paises menos afortunados, el celiaco no conoce de fronteras, el celiaconecesita leyes que den seguridad en su salud, no importa el Pais, no importa el continente...Las asociaciones deben tener complicidad unas con otras, ya, ya se que es complicado (!) a un asi, reclamo para el celiaco temas universales: Diagnostico Precoz- Etiquetado de Productos- Difusion de la enfermedad.Un beso con todo cariñosonia gluten

Legge Celiachia Argentina, è un passo fondamentale per il gruppo celiaca mondo come sappiamo, sprue celiaca è una malattia cronica come la troviamo ovunque nel celiaca pazienti in ciascun paese. Noi poblemas chiaro che se ci sono centinaia di migliaia di malati non diagnosticate, come può accadere nei paesi sviluppati e paesi ricchi? No, ma non siamo in grado di consenso, dobbiamo rendere la nostra legislazione in l'OMS, la CE .. I grandi poteri deve impegnarsi "socialmente", con i meno fortunati, il celiaco non conosce confini, la celiaca Le leggi devono garantire la sicurezza per la tua salute, non importa quale paese, non importa il continente ... I partenariati devono essere complicità con l'altra, e perché è complicato (!) A mi amiga Sonia, le agradezco permitirme difundir la ley traducida en inglés, para que el mundo entero conozca nuestra realidad, nuestra lucha y muchos países que aún estan callados, muchos celiacos en el mundo que están esperando una solución a sus vidas, basta de silencio, defendamos nuestros derechos, hablemos, contemos a la sociedad entera cual es nuestro reclamo, al estado cuales son nuestros derechos y estoy convencida que miles y miles de granitos de arena construiran un castillo lleno de ilusión, igualdad, salud y amor para todos los que estamos en esta lucha.
